What is Rotary

What would it take to change the world? Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

Out-of-the Box Approach to Foundation Giving by the Club

Shawn Landry the club's Rotary Foundation director has a great New Foundation Year kick-off matching grant program that he is personally funding. Each year every member of the club is asked to donate $100 or more to the Rotary Foundation. Shawn will match the first $2000 that individual members donate to the Rotary Foundation. The goal for this Annual Rotary Foundation giving is Every Rotarian, Every Year. Be among the fist to contribute and Shawn Landry will match your donation.

Contributions to the Annual Programs Fund through the Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) initiative are the primary source of funding for Foundation programs, which cover more than 160 countries and geographical areas on seven continents. From digging water wells for villages in Africa to teaching basic literacy skills to children in Latin America, during any given moment, thousands of Rotarians volunteer their time and expertise. All contributions to the Annual Programs Fund are spent wisely on quality Rotary projects.

Please take advantage of Shawn's generous offer to match the first $2000 in Annual Foundation Giving by our club members by contributing $100 or more to the Foundation. Your donation of $100 makes you a sustaining member of the Foundation.
