John Clark, The Key to Organizational Life

John H. Clark III is founder and President of The Positive Information Exchange, a firm dedicated to providing organizations and individuals with positive and constructive life leadership skills.

In May 1993, John earned a Bachelors of Business Degree at the University of Memphis, and in 2003 a Masters of Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

In his recently published book, “God’s Heartbeat,” John discusses a powerful premise for achieving true life leadership. And in his next book, “Getting Out,” which is scheduled to be released in January 2009, John speaks directly to today’s youth about the powerful potential of defining a vision for the future.

In addition to founding The Positive Information Exchange, John is a published poet and energetic speaker. As an active-duty Naval Officer, he has served our country for over 20 years, and currently lives with his wife and two daughters in Virginia.

We recently welcomed two new members to our Club. Pictured above are Chet Arnold (top left picture) and Mark Cooke {bottom right picture) being inducted into our Club.

Looking for a way to increase your Public Relations skills? Volunteer to be on the Club's PR committee. Duties will include: preparing and sending press releases, updating the Chamber of Commerce WireSite, attending tradeshows, assisting with Club sponsored project PR including designing and distributing brochures, posters and flyers. If you are interested in helping with this committee, please contact Amelia Stansell at amelia.stansell@bbandt.com or call 208-989-4887.

Marilyn Karp was recently presented with a plaque naming her mother, Lillian Wasserman, a Paul Harris Fellow. Marilyn donated funds in her deceased mother's name as a way of honoring her life in a very meaningful way.

IMPORTANT

Rotary District 7610 has received a contribution that will be used to match member contributions (minimum of $100.00) that are made to the Rotary Foundation.

This means that your gift can be matched dollar for dollar until the gift money has all been spent. There is reason to believe that the matching money will all be spent very soon. One member of our club has applied to have a $500.00 contribution matched and the total $1000.00 contribution which will result in a Paul Harris Fellow Award. This was sent in immediately and we hope that it is received before the matching money is all spent.

Strong suggestion---If you plan to make a Rotary Foundation gift, do it now. I will receive checks and mail them to the Rotary Foundation immediately and hope that they will be matched. All contributions apply toward the Paul Harris Fellow award or the next highest award.
