TODAY'S PROGRAM

Craig Stewart, National Museum of Americans in Wartime

Craig Stewart is the President & CEO of the National Museum of Americans in Wartime, which is to be built in Prince William County. He is a development professional, graduate of Leadership Prince William and the MBA program at the University of North Carolina, and member of the George Mason University-Prince William Advisory Board. The museum’s vision is to honor those who served our country in times of war both of the battlefront and home front, to educate visitors about extraordinary actions or ordinary citizens who defended our freedoms, and to inspire all with the understanding that America will always need citizens to answer the call.

LAST WEEK'S PROGRAM

Club Assembly & Fundraising Brainstorming Session

Members got an update on club finances, membership, and current projects we are supporting.

In addition, the group came up with ideas for fundraising opportunities, which included raffles for cars and/or cruises, hosting a dinner party with a reverse raffle, hosting a casino night or a Texas Hold'Em tournament, to name a few. President Dennis will be compiling a complete list and bringing it to the membership for a vote to decide on the best option.

There are now twelve sustaining members for 2008-2009 and our goal is Every Member Every Year.
