Children's Wellness Festival Update

When Marilyn asked me to write about the Wellness Festival for the Bulletin, I said we need FUNDING. She said write it. So here I am.

Right now, the plans for our second Wellness Festival Saturday, September 27th 11-3 are solid. We have commitments for entertainment, food – Robin (Chick-fil-A is donating 200 meals for volunteers AND exhibitors), medical assistance, Lions Club, etc. Our own gallant members, Logistics - Jim & Don, Volunteers – George, Marketing – Midge and Becky, Sponsorships – Lori, etc. are doing an excellent job.

WE DO NEED SPONSORSHIPS! Please keep in mind that anything we raise, over and above the net cost to put on the Festival, goes toward helping children’s medical expenses. Several in the Club have donated $100. Although that would be nice, I’m not asking for that. Please ask companies for whom you work, where you shop, where you send your dry cleaning, etc. if they could spare $50-$100 or perhaps more.

Lori has the sponsorship forms. Please take some and look around. Let’s not just reach into our pockets, let’s spread the worthwhile commitment. Remember, we are a 501c3 organization!

Charlie
